SEWING WITH KNITS

Sewing with a knit or stretch fabric is very often easier than sewing with a woven. Knits are very forgiving. The darts and shaping seams are usually elimitated and the fit is easy!

In two 1 1/2 hour classes you will learn:

Knits I:

covers types of knits

selecting a pattern

cutting

sewing stretch seams

stay tapes

Knits II:

covers seam finishing

hems

installing elastic

button holes
