Contemporary Heirloom

Today contemporary heirloom techniques are being used EVERYWHERE! This class will show you how to update the look of traditional heirloom while making it quick and easy to do! This is a 2-hour long class. The techniques you will learn in this class include:

- Connecting lace to lace -

 - Connecting lace to fabric -

 - Connecting entredeux to fabric -

- Shaping lace -

 - Creating fabric tucks - 

- Quick smocking -

What to bring/expect:

You will be given a kit that includes a twin needle, elastic thread, lace, entredeux and fabric samples to practice with during class. Machine is required because this is a hands-on course, meaning YOU will be practicing the techniques in class. Either bring in your own machine or reserve a JUKI machine when you reserve your spot for the class.
