Lora Simonds loves to sew! She believes
that sewing with unique fabrics is the quickest way to develop
a personal style, be creative and have fun all at once. Lora
loves the idea of contributing to the Dallas fashion scene where
sewing and fashion are making a dramatic comeback. She has a
merchandising background combined with dressmaking skills that
specialize in Bridal. After twenty years of sewing for the public
she decided to put aside one of her greatest passions to allow
for one far greater, her love of fine fabrics.
After two years of brainstorming,
a trip to New York and a hearty dose of hard work Lora created
Fabrique. It is a unique fabric source as well as a scene for
sewing competitions, fashion shows, and exciting classes.
The environment is one
of welcome. There are fun filled classes for those who would
like to perfect their sewing skills. Established designers have
the opportunity to submerge themselves in the finest fabrics,
whether it is for sportswear, evening wear or anything in between.
For those who are seeking a custom gown or simply want a perfectly
fit pair of pants there are qualified designers for all occasions.
